Be the Anchor, Not the Sail

Plans fail.

Markets shift.

Teams get blindsided.

Good leaders don’t flinch;

They adapt fast.

Panic is contagious.

But so is calm, if leader shows the way.

In chaos, tone matters more than tactics.

Leaders set the emotional temperature.

And stay steady, even if you’re not sure.

Don’t fake confidence; project clarity.

Say what you know.

Say what you don’t.

Silence breeds fear.

But truth builds trust.

Step back.

Zoom out.

Redefine the problem.

Let go of ego.

The first plan is rarely the best one.

People follow behavior, not titles.

If you show grit, they will too.

If you blame, so will they.

Take responsibility; share credit.

No leader ever did it alone.

Anyone can steer a steady ship.

But storms reveal who’s got the minerals.

Leadership isn’t about being right;

It’s about staying anchored.

Especially when nothing else is.
